The heads for three-dimensional rod puppets are made of reticulated foam, covered with cheese cloth and painted with paint mixed with Eileen's glue to stiffen them.  Hair is made of yarn and Golem has a set of LED lights built in to be able to change colors based on his moods.

 



 
 
 
 
 
 

   The development of "The Golem" was made possible by a New Commission in Jewish Theatre grant from the National Foundation for Jewish Culture, and premiere performances were made possible by a grant from The Jim Henson Foundation.
